Hayes Joseph Greco

Well as soon as my doctor said it was safe for me to have the baby, all my preterm labor stopped. typical. But Hayes Joseph Greco finially came on November 8th 2008 at 4:38 in the morning. He weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 19 inches long. He has so much hair! I love it.

He will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. I can't believe how fast time has gone. He has already outgrown some clothes. But he is the best babyt although he is a little spoiled. Ty Loves him so much. Every morning he asks about his baby "bruver" and then talks about how cute he is. Irelyn thought he was a doll at first and now she could just care less.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Still no baby. I can't believe it. But we had a good Halloween. I took the kids to the mayors walk at the rec center. And with the help of my sister and brother-in-law we had a good time. The kids didn't fit into their tigger and eyore costumes so Irelyn went as a bumble bee and Ty rode a chicken. Everyone loved Ty's costume he looked so dang cute. Irie was a little overwhelmed with the whole thing the only thing that she would say was thank you when they gave her candy. Then after the mayors walk we went to our church Halloween party and had a lot of fun. The kids got so many prizes and I decorated a cute cake. So did my sister.

WOW!!!!!!! It has been so long since I have blogged. I am almost at the end of my pregnancy now. Its a boy. I no longer live in Tooele I am back in Vernal and currently living with my parents because rent is so darn expensive. The baby is due in a couple of weeks. That is if he can wait that long.
I am so excited for Halloween. I love dressing the kids up and carving Pumpkins. This year they are going to be Eyore and Tigger. We got our pumpkins yesterday out in Naples. They were a heck of a lot cheaper than Wal-Mart who wanted $5.00 a pumpkin we got 6 pumpkins for $9.00. We haven't carved them yet but I did get some cute pics of Ty and Irie with them today on the porch. The pumpkin patch was funny there was no one around to pay instead they had a big 55 gallon barrel with a hole in the side that said please pay here. They must be very trusting people. I will try and keep up with my blog a little more than I have been life just got pretty hectic there for a while.

My Daughter is So Beautiful.

Well she is. I can't help but say it, and yeah I know I am a little partial but goodness just look at her.

Today when I got her up from her nap I gave her a bath to try and get her hair to curl. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't just like mine. And today it super curled in the back I was so excited. I wish I knew how to make it do this everyday. It was so beautiful even Joey noticed when he came home.
She spent like half an hour looking at that circuler that came in the mail today. She is so funny.

And then she read her book for like another 20 minutes. Please excuse all the toys on the floor in the background. As soon as I pick them up they are back out. And yes I know my "lovely" pink carpet is hideous. I honestly think that it is original to the house. eww I know but what can ya do when you rent?

I AM SO SICK OF MORNING SICKNESS. If it was just that, "morning" sickness, I would be fine. But no, it is afternoon and evening and whenever the heck it decides to sneak up on you sickness. But for me it isn't morning sickness at all. They should just call it THE SICKNESS. I haven't actually thrown up yet, thank goodness, but I get so sick to my stomach that I am scared to move. Which honestly makes me think that it is a girl. With Ty I threw up every night at 2:00 in the morning like violently until the day that I got a positive test result and then it stopped, just like that. And with Irie I was nauseous almost all day for about a month after I got a positive test result. So I really hope that it is a girl, not that I wouldn't love to have a boy. It's just that it will be so close to Irie that I would like her to have a sister so that they could be really close to each other. My sisters little girls are inseparable and they are really close together too. So there are my thoughts for today.

Easter and a Grease fire.

Well Easter was OK. I really wanted to go to Vernal and see my family but it just wasn't possible. So we spent it with the in laws. Which was good. But I think hardly anyone was feeling well. And we had to have the whole get together in the evening because of everyone having church at different times. So it got dang cold at the end. We just went to the park and let the kids play and BBQ ed so all in all it was fun. Ty and Irie looked so cute in there Easter outfits. sorry the pics aren't turned it won't turn for some reason. stupid computers.

And then on Monday I was trying to cook some potatoes and I started to heat up the oil and the kids started screaming so I got occupied with them and the pan heated up so much that all the oil disappeared and the house filled with smoke and burned a cabinet door and made the ceiling black so all day Tuesday I vacuumed the ceiling and we tried to clean it up the best we could. so tonight we sealed everything off with plastic so we can paint the ceiling tomorrow with Joe's spray gun. Hopefully everything will turn out OK. I am just glad that no one was hurt and that the house didn't go up in flames.
I didn't think that smoke could do that much damage in such a little amount of time. There was never really any flames. At least I never saw any. Of course I was running around getting the kids out of the house and opening all the windows after I got the pan off of the stove. I really think that I shouldn't attempt cooking again for awhile. With two small babies and another one sucking all my brain power at the moment it's a wonder I can even do basic functions. Ha Ha.

My funny son.

Ty has this new obsession with playing with Irie in his room. Which is just fine with me it lets me get things done without too much worry about what they are getting into. Well I just went to check on them and I found Ty riding his zebra wearing Mr. Potatoe Head's glasses. He is such a funny kid.

And yesterday they were both in there playing and when I came to check on them I found Irie covered in milk, that Ty had dumped on her head. It was too funny to scold him for so I just went and got my camera to take a picture.

Home Improvement......

Joe and I decided to redo our tiny little bathroom. The ugly sink leaked and the walls were an aweful shade of salmon ( my fault I was trying for Coral ) so we set to it thinking "this should only take two or three days. Ha. It has been almost a week and we still have finishing touches to do. But I decided to post before and during pics and then later post the finished product.

When we first moved in. This picture was taken standing in the bathtub. Yeah thats how small it is.

After we ripped out the sink and toilet and painted over the salmon with bright Green.

Our AWESOME new tile. I LOVE IT.

Our new sink and medicine cabinet.

My freakin cute shoes!!! Oh yeah and the great tileing job that Joey did. I have such an awesome husband. So that is it so far. Sorry I thought I had a pic of the bathroom when it was the salmon color, but I didn't so just imagine what it would look like if you stuck a fire cracker in a salmon and lit the fuse. Not pretty I know.

Tuesday.............

My niece Natalee came over today to watch the kids while Joey and I tried to remodel the bathroom. She is such a big help. I painted the bathroom and when I came into the living room to wait for it to dry this is what I found.

They are so cute together. She is so good at keeping the kids entertained and Happy. I am so glad that I someone to help me out when I need it.

Yesterday I had the GREAT idea to let Ty have pudding. Well I got busy trying to get things done before I had to go to work and didn't keep a close eye on him. When I finially noticed what he was doing I found a pudding monster! Oh well I guess he had a lot of fun with it, You be the judge.

Greco 101

Insomnia is still winning over here so I decided to give a lesson in Greco 101. Up above is the only picture of my husband Joey attempting to smile. The guy will smile and smile and smile until you pull out a dang camera and then POOF!!! it's gone. So back to the point. This is my husband. We have been married for almost 4 years now and we have two great kids. Of which I will explain below.
This is my goofy crazy son Ty Morgan. He as become quite the little Mr. Independant which is fine in most cases unless he wants to climb a table to reach something or jump out of the tub and run soaking wet and naked through the kitchen and into the living room and then pee's on the floor. But the boy does have rythem you put on any music and his body starts movin' with the beat. He also is an awesome big brother.
And this little ray of sunshine is my Irelyn Ann. She recentley got the point of humor and has since then kept the whole family laughing. Irelyn was quite the shocker for Joe and I. Her and Ty are one year and three days a part. Needless to say she was not planned at all. Goes to show that birth control sometimes doesn't work no matter how many forms you use. But she was the best surprise that we have ever recieved.
And last but not least there is me. Lacey. This is the only picture that I had of myself that I like it was my wedding day. So imagine four years of ageing and some baby weight and there you go thats me.

Insomnia

I was so tired at 11:30. What the heck happened? I got in bed curled up and got all comfortable and what does my body do? It starts telling me that it in no way is tired. I toss, I turn and listen to calming music on my I-pod. But no, the more I lay there the more I want to get up. I layed in the freaking bed for 2 and a half hours and still wasn't tired. I do this all the time and I am really begining to get pissed off.
So after giving in to the untiredness I come out into my living room and decide to check my e-mail. And the first headline that I read on the Yahoo! home page is "Sleep loss poses serious health risks" how very ironic. Now I have something else to worry about and keep me up at night. The fact that I am staying up at night. I could just take some tylenol p.m. but then I probably wouldn't wake up until like 4 o'clock in the afternoon and the vicious cycle remains.

Today.....another day.

Well to day has been just about like any other day. The random acts of a mother that go silently unappreciated. The cleaning and cooking and changing of diapers. The constant background noise of dora the explorer and blues clues. The hugs and kisses laughter and smiles.
I can't wait until winter stops teasing us and the warm weather finially remains constant for awhile. So I can get out into the back yard and let the kids run around while I soak up the sun and plant my garden. I think everyone here has a little bit of cabin fever.
